Cryptocurrency – Legality in Vietnam

Yes, it is legal but illegal as a payment tool. The State Bank of Vietnam has declared that the issuance, supply and use of bitcoin and other comparable virtual currency is illegal as a mean of payment and subject to punishment ranging from a hundred and fifty million to 200 million VND, however the authorities does not ban bitcoin trading as a digital goods or assets.
